关于论文的说法各不相同，该怎么区分呢？

Paper，essay，thesis，dissertation

►英式英语里，本科和硕士论文都叫dissertation， 博士论文叫thesis；

►而美式完全反过来，本科和硕士论文叫thesis，博士论文叫dissertation；

►Paper可以指课程论文，或某个具体研究在会议或者期刊上发表的论文。如term paper, course paper, research paper。

►Essay的含义较广，既可指几千字的短篇论文，也可以指散文或者杂文。
